Launched in 2004, The Caribbean Princess is owned and operated by Princess Cruises. With 3,600 capacity, The Caribbean Princess has the largest carrying capacity in the ‘Princesses Fleet’. This exclusive ship boasts 900 cabins with balcony’s and a deck of mini-suites. Originally, the ship sailed throughout the Caribbean, it is now based in Southampton, UK and offers cruises to various destinations in The British Isles and Northern Europe. It has however been reported that The Caribbean Princess will be sent to Galveston next year, to sail around the West Caribbean Islands.

Eating And Drinking On-Board Caribbean Princess

Numerous bars, restaurants and cafes provide a wide range of choice for passengers 24 hours a day. The ship offers a large choice of either traditional dining rooms for meals at the same time each day, or less formal dining rooms for meals at unrestricted times. Various specialty restaurants offer guests a diverse range of cuisines, including The Italian Restaurant for traditional Italian dishes and The Crown Grill with a large selection of Steak and Seafood. For a more relaxed style of dining, guests can visit The Horizon Court and Bistro Or Vines, an exclusive wine and seafood bar. A 24 hour snack bar provides freshly cooked snacks and drinks, to suit all passengers needs. Other snack bars offer burgers, fries and drinks daily and Scoops Ice-Cream is perfect to indulge yourself on those hot days at sea.

Entertainment Every Day

The Caribbean Princess offers a wide variety of entertainment, with passengers getting the chance to witness many talented musicians, dancers and singers. If you want to take in a movie, guests have a choice of 2 theatre’s, either The Princess Theatre with live shows or ‘Movies Under The Skies’ outdoor theatre which has regular movies showing. For those who want to party a little later into the night, a visit to the funky Skywalkers nightclub is a must. When you just want to sit back and relax, head to one of the relaxing lounges such as Crooners Bar and Churchill Lounge with comfortable sofa’s and relaxing music.

Activities for Young And Old

With 5 pools, hot tubs, spa, fitness centre and beauty saloon, there is always something for everyone to enjoy. For some sporting fun, why not try out a game of basket ball or practice your putting skills on the golf green. Daily lectures on art and other subjects are taught by experts and art exhibitions allow guests to admire stunning art pieces. For duty free shopping, guests will be able to buy clothes, jewelry, gifts and much more with the large selections of shops available.

    FYI: Drinks prices on Caribbean Princess — Cocktails / Martinis $7.95 (about £6 Sterling once you include 15% service charge.
    Guiness $5.95, Miller $4.25,
    Wine from $6.25.
    Might look pricey BUT the measures are very generous and the mixers are free 🙂

    Tip: Get a soda package – only about £3.50 per day for unlimited soft drinks.
