Freedom Of The Seas

Launched in 2006, Freedom Of The Seas is a luxurious cruise ship owned and operated by Royal Caribbean International. Previously, Freedom Of The Seas was the largest cruise ship ever built until it was overtaken by Oasis Class in 2009. The ship boasts many exclusive features, comfortable staterooms and numerous features and facilities to provide the cruise of a lifetime. The huge ship has a capacity for 3,634 passengers and 1,300 crew members and cruises all year round to various destinations around The Caribbean and Mexico. In March 2011, the ship underwent an extensive refurbishment with many new features added, including an outdoor movie screen, and new touchscreen Kiosks around the ship.

Dining Options On-Board Freedom Of The Seas

Whatever your taste, Freedom Of The Seas is guaranteed to have delicious cuisines to suit all palates. Traditional dining rooms offer a varied menu of contemporary cuisines for passengers who prefer to eat at a set time each day. Various Specialty Restaurants, allow guests to experience a wide variety of cuisines, including the Chops Grille Restaurant which serves delicious beef dishes, seafood and appetizers until late in the evening.

For more casual dining, numerous outdoor grills, buffets, cafes and snack bars serve freshly cooked food throughout the day. The Windjammer Cafe offers passengers buffet style dining for breakfast and lunch and waiter service in the evening in a relaxed environment. Don’t miss the brand new Cupcake Cupboard, a retro bakery with over 30 different types of cupcakes available to choose from.

Fun Activities On-Board Freedom Of The Seas

Freedom Of The Seas is renowned for some of it’s exciting, thrilling features and activities. With 4 pools, 6 whirl pools, surf simulator, basket ball court, boxing ring, mini-golf course, ice-skating rink and unique rock climbing wall, passengers will never be stuck for something new and exciting to do. Kids will love the new ‘Dream Works Experience’ with fun parades and ‘meet and greet’ with favourite cartoon characters. The Adventure ocean Youth Programme is also very popular with tons of fun activities and games taking place throughout the day. Older kids can party to all the latest pop tunes at the cool Teen Disco or hang out with new friends in the Teen lounges which have designed specifically for younger guests in mind.

Entertainment For All

Whether you want to snuggle under a blanket and take in a movie at the new poolside move theatre or take in one of the numerous shows, dancing or live music in the bars and lounges across the ship, Freedom Of Seas has it all! With 22 bars, lounges and clubs, guests will always be able find somewhere to kick back and enjoy an exotic cocktail as they relax in beautiful surroundings. The main Theatre offers nightly broad-way shows from some of the most talented performers around, whilst other guests may like to try their luck with a little flutter at the huge, deluxe Casino Royal with Roulette, Craps, Black Jack and many more exciting games on offer.
