Launched in 2001, the Norwegian Star is a luxurious cruise ship which is owned and operated by the Norwegian Cruise Line. Originally built to sail the Hawaiian waters, the Norwegian Star did not have an on-board casino as they were prohibited by Hawaiian law, however in 2005 the ship was re-located and a refit transformed the ship and added brand new features, including a large deluxe Casino.
With a capacity for 2,348 passengers and 1,083 crew members the elegant ship offers a wide selection of luxurious cabins for passengers to enjoy all home comforts at sea! Over 70% of cabins offer sea-views and many have private balconies. The ship also has unique 3-bedroom suites with their own private garden and sundeck, for the ultimate luxury. The Norwegian Star is now offering cruises around Northern Europe and the Baltic Sea. In the winter, she will return to North America and offer cruises around Los Angeles and The Mexican Riviera.
