Launched in 1991, the Star Flyer is a four masted sailing ship which has been designed as a small cruise ship. The ship is owned and operated by the Swedish Company, Star Clippers Limited. Like her sister ship, Star Clipper, Star Flyer has a capacity for just 170 passengers offering an intimate and cozy environment for passengers to enjoy an unique sailing experience in a luxurious and comfortable environment. Sailing all year round, Star Flyer offers cruises to some of the most exotic destinations worldwide. The small size of the ship allows her to get up close to ports in harder to reach destinations which larger ships are unable to do.

Guests on-board the Star Flyer can enjoy exquisite dining, efficient and friendly service and stimulating company in the on-board restaurant and lively Piano Bar. The beautiful restaurant offers traditional dining in an elegant and sophisticated environment. Breakfast and lunch both consist of lavish buffets, with the evening meal been a sit down affair with an open seating policy so guests can choose when, where and with whom they would like to dine. Other dining options include an early breakfast served in the lounge, afternoon tea and snacks at the outdoor Tropical Bar and late night snacks which are also available in the lounge.

Evening entertainment centres around the lively Piano Bar which plays regular music throughout the evening. Guests can kick back and relax in comfortable seating as they catch up with fellow passengers or enjoy a refreshing drink after a busy day sightseeing. There is also an outdoor bar, The Tropical Bar which offers a wide choice of cocktails, spirits, beers and wines. The bar is often used to serve lunch during the summer for an al-fresco dining experience.

Although small, the Star Flyer has plenty going on to keep passengers entertained whilst at sea.
